On the brink of release, our very first PDF game mat for space combat
To answer a few questions ahead of the curve:
* What is Uncharted Space?
Uncharted Space is a PDF game mat which comes complete with all of the graphic files needed to print a 60-inch X 40-inch mat from home. Every visual element in Uncharted Space is 100% original texture work (no crumby Hubble rips or paint spatters here!...lol).
* What formats are you including in this release?
The mat includes both 1-inch hex and zero grid layouts. Other formats may follow depending on demand.
* Can I have the tiles printed for me instead of at home?
Yes you can have the tiles printed for you elsewhere (*some conditions apply*) and a limited printing license is granted within the product.
* So these are tiles I print at home then???
Yes, the board is broken into 32 segmented home printer-friendly pages with complete mounting instructions.
* Can't you just give me one gigantic mat image so I can print that off somewhere?
We won't be making a non-segmented (one gigantic single mat file) available as a download due to the fact that we will be offering tangible vinyl versions of this mat at a future date.
* When will this vinyl version of the mat come out?
The tangible version of this mat will likely be available the last quarter of 2007.
* Are there any props included with Uncharted Space?
Yes this product includes 3-D Asteroid Clusters and associated files.
* Wasn't there suppose to be some kind of supplement included with this release?
Yes but we've decided to take a little extra time with it and give it away to everyone absolutely FREE! The supplement includes extra rules and models for our upcoming game Wormhole. This includes an Automated Defense Platform and associated rules for it, asteroid movement guidelines and two unique scenarios which utilize some aspects of the Uncharted Space: Sathrican homeworld environment ("Rain of Stone" & "Separatist Betrayal").
