I have been looking for a complete Deck Plan of a C-5A Galaxy for quite a while. Does anyone have said beast? And as a related side note: Has anyone tried to make a Kitbash of an modern airplane? Here would be a great deck plan for a Kitbash (Air Force One): |

Not quite as detailed, but the official load plan document at http://www.dtic.mil/whs/directives/info ... e1690.html in a PDF file. Should be able to figure out where seats can be placed, etc. Doesnt touch the passenger compartment in the top, but I'll keep looking. I rode home on emergency leave from Germany in one of those, so they are quite interesting. The 1/48 scale C-130 kit would be a fair source for an interior there, but probably a bit much to spend to do something like a paper model from. If I can ever find the instructions from my Italiari kit, I'll try to scan and share. |
