Post subject: | First WWG Convention Showing (Malaysia) |
There is a Sci-Fi & Fantasy Festival going on 15-17th December at Cineleisure Damansara, Malaysia and I've been invited by the organisers to run an event. Now I have had a lot of pressure from a lot of people to run the SAVAGE MAYHEM game I did a few weeks ago (see the User Pics section for details) featuring my Mayhem build, but instead I shall be showing off my Caveworks build because I shall be demoing DARK AGE. There'll only be me running this demo since my fellow Outcast will be back in France, so I will be there possibly just on the 16th Dec............. will try for the 17th as well, but need permission from the missus first. http://www.fantasyfest.com.my/ Here's hoping the Caves go down well with the general public, and not just with the Games Shop patrons that normally get to see it!!! |

Tadaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!! ![]() The Festival was a big success, with the Caveworks terrain grabbing a LOT of attention (as well as the Dark Age minis ![]() Follow the link below to go see the Event Report on the Dark Age forum............ yes, with pictures......... though I must admit to doing this particular event on my lonesome and I was so busy that there aren't too many pictures............ but check out some of the babes further down in the report hehehehehehe ![]() http://www.dark-age.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2577 You may notice the WWG poster near the centre of the table. Any chance of alternates being made available for people to use for this kind of thing? I think I remember business-style cards on the old site as well.......... |

Thanks for all the comments guys, and many thanks for the offer Denny, I'll keep it in mind ![]() Gaming Conventions are a fairly new thing over here, with GAMECON-1 last year being the first of its kind. The Festival last weekend was the only one this year, and Gaming was only one area it covered, but at least we are now getting things happening. There is supposed to be another Convention early next year, GAMECON-2, but is has yet to be confirmed. Others may be in the pipeline, but I have yet to hear anything definite. In the meantime, I'll be using the WWG stuff for Dark Age demos and Savage games at the local shops so hopefully there will be some new customers finding their way. The last Savage Mayhem game created a lot of interest so hopefully this weekend's game will prove just as successful!! Thanks again ![]() |

Well, this wasn't a pure Gaming event. They had a big "Eragon" release show, a fashion show, a comics area, cosplay, plus, the best of the bunch, the gaming area. Still searching for some nicer pictures of the 'early-shift' Elektra though *drool* |
