Her Majesty's Ethercraft Repulsive lives up to its name, a fortress nearly 1000 yards across, brutally ugly with its permanent emplacements of naval cannon. Poised to rain fire down upon any wayward tribes of the Martian wastes the Repulsive is more semi-mobile weapons platform than craft, not having left its position above the British held colonies at the base of Olympus Mons. Though capable of interplanetary flight the Repulsive was built on site, and it is doubtful whether her majesty will ever remove its protection from her valued colonies. This set is not designed for recreating the massive craft in its enirety, but rather is intended to recreate portions of the vessel at need. Future expansions might include the gun emplacements, and the control tower itself. The Auld Grump |

Rocketships the way they oughta be, with portholes, fins, and lotsa rivets! Control panels in wood, with brass-rimmed gauges! Commo gear that you just know is full of vacuum tubes! A plotting table with a "Map of the Heavens" on it, and/or an orrery! I suppose an astrogators slide rule would be too small in 28mm scale? Grif |
