I have a question about caves and tlx: 1) What's on the reverse side of the TLX cliffs? Are they just cliff textures? 2) If they are, do you think it'd be worth trying to kitbash the hellworks walls onto cliff walls to make some interior wall types? I don't own either set, but I saw this pic: and it looks like there's some textures there that would work as a base for cave walls and floors. I can't tell - maybe it's too 'carved' looking and not natural enough. I was thinking that if there were a set of walls that matched the current cliff wall types, then you can use em as interior walls, or put em back-to-back with a cliff wall for an interior/exterior wall. For floor tiles, I'd think a tile or two that worked as half-forest/half-cave, as well as some that have a hinterland river running through it (or shrink the river and make it more of a stream)... I was looking at hellworks over caveworks simply because it looked like there was easier pieces to steal textures from in hellworks, but if caveworks has large enough textures to map onto TLX walls, that'd be good to know too. I'm really itching to have a TLX cave solution! WWG - is there something in the pipeline already? Want someone to buy it in beta form and try it out? |
