I've been way off the papercrafting bandwagon lately, so I thought I'd try to get myself going again by packaging up my very first "bash" and submit it. I had made a low 3" wooden fence and low 3" stone wall ages ago. Here's a shot of a small house with some fences leading up to the front door. Ignore the textures on the house... I'm still planning on some harbormaster-ish bashes... I'll try to come up with a viable gate section for the fence and wall. |

@Cherno - Both the wooden fence and stone wall I did take textures directly off of Thoumont's. I did for two reasons. First, I couldn't make a texture to save my life. I envy those who can do that sort of thing. Second, a kitbash needs to modify some element of a released set. If I went and made my own textures and my own pieces, my literal-engineer-brain tells me that violates the very short list of rules outlined for kitbashes. At least, point #2 is what I hide behind so I don't have to admit to not being able to make a texture to save my life. ![]() I'll try to get ahold of a real camera (right now I just have my iPhone...) and do a setup with a longer fence and a stone wall. @uncre8d1 - I totally wanted to do a wattle fence, but I'll have to leave that up to the professionals. When I see pictures like my brain is now wired to say "hey - that'll work just fine in 3" and 6" segments!" |

mproteau, I'd love it if you could offiically submit your kitbashes (still haven't seen them show up in my inbox). Please send them to bobmcooper@msn.com, with "kitbash" in the subject line. |
