Thats damn nice mate!!! Though it may need some horizontal stabilisers........ and frickin' lasers!! I remember some old Battletech artwork showing a big Mech alongside a Tractor-Mech......... a flying Tractor would be soooo cool!! |

That looks really nice Scotherns. Great job! I'd definitely like to pick this kitbash up to park around my city. I think if you do decide to add lasers, it's be better if it was optional. I wouldn't want them myself Can't wait to see more. Arabin |

That is too cool! If you are going for modularity, you should create a simple stand for when the car is flying. |

This SOOOOOO reminds me of the Moller Sky Car: http://www.moller.com/ . My Dad and I have been following this guy since the early 80's...he's still flight testing. lol. |

You are doing a fantastic job... this car looks amazing. It reminds me a very little of Danger Mouse's car (if it was yellow). Great stuff.... upload it now! Arabin |

I like the new one as well. Especially the vertical thrusters. But from a purely practicle stand point I wonder if the wings on the door would be in the way when the door opens. Its nice to see a flying stand too. It doesn't look like a transparency though. Is it just blank cardstock? Or is it a cloud/dust texture? |

Just saw it and it is great. Make it blue and it could look "like" the bladerunner vehicle. |

The 3rd (and final) prototype flying car is up in the gallery: It now includes weapons (cannon, mini-gun, laser and missiles), an 'intake' front, a 'jet exhaust' rear panel, and a re-styled top. This one is more of an over-the-top design to show the kind of things that will be possible using the kitbash. Of course, all of the three prototypes so far will be able to be built from the final parts set (and many more!). I think I'm done tinkering with it. Now it just needs tidying up, instructions, and submitting, which I plan to do today or tomorrow night. Steve |

Looks fantastic Scotherns. Hey, have you considered using a printer transparency sheet, rolled into a tube, with smoke drifting down one side? We were going to do something similar to that concept with the ill-fated "Hoverforce" fleet of flying cars. Another cool and affordable method is to attach a bit of wire or coat hanger to a foamcore base. Once your stem is done take some cotton balls and artfully pull it up the stem to create a smoke trail (and conceal the wire). |
