Someone said in another post, can't remember which, but they managed to get an icy look out of Caveworks, so I had a go. Basically I opened the PDF file as normal, then copied the image, I also opened my photoshop program, and was able to paste the image onto a new file in photoshop (arcsoft photostudio to be exact), then I filled all the white areas in black and then used the enhance option, negative, which turned everything topsy turvey, and icy. Have a look for yourselves: Piss of piss really, now I can add an icy section to make the caves all the more hazardous. Hee Hee!!! Hope this doesn't interfere with anything you guys have offically planned? Thanks Bruenor |

Bruenor, it looks really good! However, you have to shrink that pic down. It's way too big to be allowed. |

Thanks and done, hope it's not too big now, didn't realise the size was still full size, sorry. |

Ta! Not sure how a whole Cave printed like that would look, but as an add on section , I think it would add a nice bit of variation, must resist doing it now............... ![]() Tried a test print, and it's even printed at the right scale.........oh the possibilites now. ![]() |

Very cool. The negative effect has a kind of otherworldly, not-right quality about it. It wouldn't take much color tweaking to make a Ghostworks or Realm-of-the-deadworks or some type of alien landscape for the cave. Great job, gets us non-photoshop people thinking. |

I tried some of the other sets I've bought and with a little tone adjustment this technique can be applied to almost anything. The only sbag I have hit, was with the reflecting pool in CW, when you neg it, the ice has a red glow in the middle. Might be cool as a buried artifact, or magic centre, but would like to get rid if it too, as a normal icy pool. |

This is a potential future project for me, having an Ice Cavern would be perfect for my Dark Age Ice Caste Dragyri. I think a lot of work and ideas have previously been put on the following thread: http://www.worldworksgames.com/forum/vi ... php?t=1189 I hope the above thread never gets deleted from the forum ![]() |

Thanks for that, I've just tried it Denny's way, adjusting the Hue and saturation, and that is perfect for what I want. I use Arcsort Photostudio, and have adjusted the Hue bar all the way, and the saturation to -45 and the contrast to +10. |
