I will be honest, I really don't like TLX. But I really like The Garden, and I have hit a spot where I am actually going to build up some of it. I will be using Photoshop to turn all those TLK pieces into 3" and 6" wall sections, with my own weird corner tab system. If there is interest, I will see about getting it formatted as a kitbash. |

I would at least like to see your alternative system. I keep fiddling with ideas around other ways to do the wall and post approach, but without anchors. |

What I do is use one side of a post, and paste it on to either end of the wall and run a little shading at the join to suggest the post is raised. Then I copypasta it, invert the new piece, and position it to make a traditional foldover wall. I then paste one side of a post at the left end of the exterior side, so it can bend around the corner and be glued to the right end of the next wall. I am giving consideration to keeping the TLX wall-top stiffeners, which would also lend themselves to multi-level builds. |

So, are you gluing the walls directly onto the tiles, then? Or using some other method to attach them? |

It is going slowly. I much prefer Photoshop over GIMP, and my only computer wih photoshop is feeling sick and moving lethargically as a result. I will have a few demo pieces printed and assembled soon, so y'all can see what I am going on about. |

Non-TLX version = Yes, do this! (From another who hasn't really got into TLX - that build time is a killer for me.) |

Due to technical difficulties, this project is on hold. Sorry, guys. |

@punkrabbit - since last spring, did you get your tech probs dealt with and able to get further on your non-TLX version of the Garden walls? |

I have the prototype of an alternative! No posts at all (much easier to build) and stores in even LESS space than the original. https://www.facebook.com/oldschooldm/po ... 0966360270 Please communicate with me on the FB group (Papercraft Enthusiasts) https://www.facebook.com/groups/1561782210721797/ as I will *not* be checking responses here.
