OK so I am trying to get the Feisty Friar Spiral Stairs kitbash together and am trying to figure out how to do the instructions on how to put it together. Is there an 'easy' way for creating the sketch directions as in the other TLX products? Would Sketchup work? I guess I could draw them out by hand ( I was so close to going to school for architecture), but that seems tedious. As this is something that is a little more complex that "see the generic directions", I think having clear instructions would be helpful Thoughts? I actually considered making a video about how to put them together, but then you would see my face, and hear my voice and your heads would explode.

If you get the hang of Sketchup (and install some nice plugins too, like Flattery) then yeah - you can rotate the faces and what not. For my props, I've just been following a format of snapping photos at each step. I haven't gotten any feedback that I can recall about the Garden Waterfall prop I did, but it had instructions for each step. Not sure if it was good enough or not, but it passed though kitbasher judges. My recent gable prop kitbash has similar instructions, but this time around I took the time to draw highlights to indicate where I like to apply glue. If I get to the point where I can design 3d props effectively in Sketchup ( mentions how to go from Sketchup to PePaKuRa...) then I'll probably try to go the 3d rendered instructions.

OK I played around with Sketchup during lunch and think I came up with diagrams that make sense. I am going to look at the otehr TLX directions and see if I can make my renderings closer to what they look like.

only minor nits - overall, I think you're making some great instructions! There are missing faces (like a glue tab in some pics, and I think some faces underneath stairs too in one pic) I think that some of the faces might be oriented incorrectly. Specifically, the blue ones. Select one, right-click > Reverse Faces. And, under the Camera menu are options for types of projection and camera orientation, but I thought the images worked well as is.

OK so working on refining this, got the faces reversed, but when I put the pieces together, you can "see" the glue tabs from the underneath piece on the face of the outside piece. Not sure how to get rid of this.
