Those have a nice rambling quality to them, nicely done.
This same idea would work for making dirt tracks for racing.

Didn't like how blocky and always-6x6-all-the-time the original Hinterland roads were so I started working on an alternate set of roads (with TCP formatting) for myself. Here's the first four tiles I made - 6x6 curve - 6x3 straight - 6x3 T transition - 6x3 X transition Will be adding more to the set shortly (mostly curves and 9 x 6 tiles), but felt like sharing the general idea of this with you all. The re-done roads feature grids in the same style as the original Hinterland products. (To make these tiles I basically extracted the road segment from the gridless straight road tile, applied it to a 6x3 tile and re gridded it. For the curve I used free form mesh deformation to curve the image then retouched it with some resynthesised textures.) |

Pretty nice. I would however, not try an do non-standard tile sizes like 6x9 if you are thinking of submitting as a kitbash. |

I've been told that: 1) No TCP kitbashes allowed. 2) Kitbashes need to be no-grid, 1 inch and 1.5 inch. Because of these two I have no interest in submitting this (or anything I do). I can still show it off to maybe give people ideas though, no? |

Just wondering what are you building the TCP tiles out of? Printed stickers on mat board? |

I would say likely not, as such as 'shared' files have been declared verbotten. However, I think if you submitted as for TLX kitbash (yeah, with all the required versions), then we could download it sticky paper (or whatever) and slap it onto foamcore, styrene, balsa, or multiple layer cardstock... Just sayin'. |

Added some new tiles to the set. Also worked on removing that quirk of Hinterland roads where the straight tile basically has a )( shaped road. Here are the tiles: And here's an example of a layout that can be built with them: I think that looks a lot more organic than what could previously be done. Now I wonder what other tiles I could make for this set... |

Highhanded, you may not be interested in doing this for TLX and I can totally understand why. Someone is going to take your idea and translate it to TLX. Very nice work and thank you much for sharing your ideas, very nice work. |
