OK, soooo. Posts 3-way, 5-way and 8-way done. - 3 pages 4.24" walls done (both-standard and anti-warp) - 6 pages [list=][*]Blank inside/outside [*]Inside/outside 2 windows [*]Inside/outside windowed door [*]inside/outside solid door [*]blank inside/inside [*]inside/inside solid door[/list] Standard 8.48" standard walls - 9 pages this is where the page count adds up, so I would like to thin this down [list=][*]inside/outside blank [*]inside/outside 2 windows [*]inside/outside 5 windows [*]inside/outside 4 windows, door in the center [*]inside/outside 4 windows, door offset right [*]inside/outside 4 windows, door offset left [*]inside/inside blank [*]inside/inside solid door center [*]inside/inside solid door offset [/list] Considering every one of those 8.28" walls are going to have an anti-warp version, that brings my page count to 27 pages. Considering I want to add in 3"x3" tiles and 6"x6" tiles with Deadfall Streets outside and Floor inside, thats another 2 pages ( they will only be anchored as I can't see them ever being used non-anchored. They are intended to have a wall running diagonally across!) That wound bring page count to 29. Question to the Mods...is that too much? If so...question to those who would use it. Do you need 8.48" angled walls with doors centered, and offset two different ways? If I cut the list down to look like this... [list=][*]inside/outside blank [*]inside/outside 2 windows [*]inside/outside 5 windows [*]inside/outside 4 windows, door in the center [*]inside/inside blank [*]inside/inside solid door center [/list] That wound be 21 pages. I can do variations on a theme between 21-29. Just need to know what is optimal. Pics following of the center door and offset door versions. |

so, working on getting some things printed and assembled to create promo pics. I realized, that with angled walls and angled transition ground tiles, with half inside/half outside textures, I needed some kind of angled floor/roof tile. Like this... I Think I can submit what I have once I get the promo pics, but I will be working on angled rails and balconies. I already have the geometry of the balcony worked out, and it can work with the 6" balcony texture, so that will be an easy add. |

so, I got a bunch of stuff printed out and made up this weekend. Ended up putting the roof on the one story building which will showcase the angled walls, transition tiles, and angled roof/floor tiles. I didn't get the angled rails done yet, but I put the roof on to see how it looked. Hmm...the angled facade I made up doesn't cover the edge of the angled tile. So, I measured everything to see if something got printed out with 'scale to page' turned on, and it looks like I may have printed out the facade incorrectly. That may explain why it looked like the walls were leaning inwards... I guess that's better than having to rebash it! |

 Dude, did you really ask if you had too much TLX goodness in your kit bash? Actually, the stuff you sampled for us looks great. My gratitude to you for your excelent efforts. You do know, it is so much better to have pieces setting in a file and not having a use for, than to have an extra file there that fits a scene so perfectly. Again, thanks to you and all the kit-bashers out there, you make this awesome hobby even better than it is. |

yeah I have no problem dividing it up...and I left stuff out like balconies! I just started and then another thing came up, and then another...and then another... I totally realize it is big. I don't know how best to divide it up. |

What's the final list of stuff? If you're really stuck, you can simply divide the short/long angled walls into somewhat arbitrary sets, and submit them as "angle wall pack 1", "angle wall pack 2" etc. That way, you can keep the page count down to, say, less than 10 pages in each pack (including the 3 pages of posts). |

Posts - 3 pages Tiles - 22 pages... Long Angled Walls - 10 pages + 10 pages Short Angled Walls - 6 pages Short Facades - 2 pages Rails - 2 pages the tiles is what kills it. With 3" tiles divided diagonally inside/outside texture, with and without the outside walkway, 6" tiles divided diagonally inside/outside texture, with and without the outside walkway, a 3" "triangular" tile, both interior floor and roof texture, a 6" with a truncated corner, both interior floor and roof texture, a template for the new tile geometries, and everything done in 1" grid, 1.5" grid and no grid... Now if I was proficient with layered PDF's, I could cut that down to 8... |

the next one is distinctly smaller....Feisty Friar Spiral Stairs comin up. Then I can reskin them for Thoumonts, Deadfall, Himmelveil, etc. 2 pages at most per bash. |

To reduce the size, I would suggest : 1 bash with the posts and "basic walls" - I mean, you don't have to propose absolutely all possibilities for the walls, especialy the long ones that can have a lot of options 1 bash with more wall options and some facades 1 bash with tiles + railings. Note : 6" tiles with a short angle could be removed entirely, as they can be replaced by a hall tile, a standard 3" tile and an angled 3" tile... |

This would make it Deadfall Angled Walls = 15-21 pages - Posts = 3 page - Short Walls = 6 pages - Long Walls = 6-10 pages Deadfall Angled Walls II 12-16 pages - Long Walls = 10-14 pages - Short Facades - = 2 pages (I could make more...) (I don't think 8.48" double high facades wound fit on a standard letter sized page) Deadfall Angled Tiles - 16 pages - 3"x3" tiles = 6 pages - 6"x6" tiles = 6 pages - 3"x3" angled tile = 3 pages - template = 1 page |

Your early post notes the following variations for the walls: inside/outside blank inside/outside 2 windows inside/outside 4 windows, door in the center inside/outside 4 windows, door offset right inside/outside 4 windows, door offset left inside/outside 5 windows inside/inside blank inside/inside solid door center inside/inside solid door offset I'm wondering - can you drop some of these variations? Can you have people simply use two short angled walls if they want/need an offset door? Can the inside/outside 2 window variation be handled similarly, with two short angled walls? Ditto for the inside/inside blank walls. That makes the list look like this: inside/outside 2 windows inside/outside 4 windows, door in the center inside/outside 5 windows inside/inside solid door center And, if these were ONLY available in anti-warp versions, that's only 4 pages now. That's a long way from twenty-something. |

I have them in warp and anti-warp. Yes, the number of iterations can be cut down, and only doing 4.24" walls is an option. I had the 8.48" template made and it was really easy for me to make a bunch of iterations. I just need to know the official word on how to make them smaller. I'm all up for that. Heck, I can even get rid of the 6" transition tiles, and just go with two 3", one interior 3" one exterior 3"... |

Too big a file? Anything over a couple hundred is too big, maybe. I ain't never seen too big a set. There are always options not available to a builder. |
