Yeah, being able to make your own would be very cool. But you know, Terraclips has several new sets upcoming.

I've been working on putting together a series of templates that can quickly and (mostly) easily transfer my Terrainlinx stuff into Terraclips, and yesterday I finished with my first prototype tiles (3x3, 3x6, and 6x6), and I'm, overall, very happy with the results. There are some alignment issues that I'll need to work out, but overall, fairly inexpensive (though not as good a deal as the TerraClips themselves will be), fairly easy, and very good results. Some pics! I can't wait to try and piece this in with the Terraclips release - but first, I need to craft the walls! Magius out. |

Quick update, I've gotten the templates for the walls done, and printed of the test walls (three from Titan, one from Himmelveil Canals and one from Mayhem Destroyed). I'll post up pics once I've put them together. Magius out. |

The templates are looking good. It will be interesting to see how these bear up under the clips (as the claps may be fairly hard on the surface). |

I would most definately prefer to purchase a terraclips version for overland terrain such as hinterlands and I would also prefer to purchase a scifi version such as titan. Unfortunately Denny is correct that I need something like those now and Kitbashing and custom boards is the only way I can go at this time. Unless of Corse Denny would like to leak what these next 3 Terraclips sets are going to be. He just might convince me to wait and save my fingers from all the cutting I'm doing.  Also what is anyone using to cut the little 3mm indentures in the tiles and walls that the clips fit onto? My blades are getting dull and my fingers are getting painful.

As for the sets Denny has up his sleeves, you should know better. lol My guess is that they are not fantasy. The first three were, maybe he is going to cover the next most popular genre, Sci-fi. Now, everyone who does their own cutting knows, you will just have to go out and get replacement blades. Your fingers, well, mine sometimes go numb. But sometimes I get smart first, and put some of the white first aid tape on them. That does help quite a bit. |

@Petershergalis Sorry dude. Bad news for you. Looks like you need to get more blades. To help me from getting a numb forefinger so fast, I find the tape helps, so does the tools I use. The utility knife helps when cutting those thick foam cores. I also use an Xacto like knife by a company called Gorden that is foam covered. It helps out a bit, but after a day of cutting, yeah, that forefinger starts to become a bit numb. Sharpe blades is really the only real answer, that and a slow pace. So, the bad news for you is a boon to all us fantasy fans. More 3D goodness coming our way, in only a few months. Whoa, I think I am getting light headed. lol I am still cutting out Friar pages and haven't even printed a single page of Friar props. That and I think I am going to purchase Thoumonts again. This time I will make sure to buy them off this site. No more RPGNow purchases for me. At least not WWG stuff. I can save money by re-buying it here so I can get all the kit bashes free. Feel real stupid now, trying to save money. |

Using the sewers for moats is I think rather creative (yes, moats were sewers in the early years). I saw that some guy reviewing the Terraclip Streets set used the 3" as a wall. Guess that works too.
